This was my classroom supply list for back in the 2015-2016 school year, when I taught 3rd grade. (^_^) Perhaps it's a good general supply list.
Typical Classroom Supplies
Supplies for Student's Desk:
1 small pencil box- to organize/contain the following: 6-8 pencils, (mechanical pencils may be used) (resupply as needed) 1 pocket pencil sharpener with shavings catcher 2 pink pearl erasers (resupply as needed) 2 red pens (resupply as needed) 2 yellow highlighters (resupply as needed) Also: 1 12-inch ruler with inches and centimeters 1 package of 3"X3" sticky notes (resupply as needed) 2 bottom-pocket folders, 3-prong, (resupply as needed) 2 green vinyl/plastic pocket folders, 3-prong (These will be homework/project folders.) 2 thin one-subject spiral notebooks, wide-ruled To bring from home: 1 rosary 2 personal books from home or library 1 water bottle (with just water, not juice, please) Supplies for Student's Cubby: 1 box of crayons-24 count (resupply as needed) 1 box of colored pencils (resupply as needed) 1 box of washable markers- 8-12 count (resupply as needed) 3-4 glue sticks (resupply as needed) 1 bottle white glue 4oz (resupply as needed) 1 pair of scissors (not sharp point) 1 package of lined 3x5 index cards 1-2 thin dry-erase markers (& eraser, too, please) (resupply as needed) Classroom Supplies to help with whole-group classroom needs: (A special thank you!) 1 roll of paper towels 1 box of Kleenex 3 packages of disinfecting wipes or "baby wipes" (low or no odor) 1 package wide-ruled notebook paper 1 ream of printer white paper 1 small package of 9x12 clasp envelopes, brown dry-erase markers for classroom board extra index cards 1 package of plastic sheet protectors |
